Here’s another update, from the person wanting to work abroad.

Glad to inform you that I got a job promotion in September 2020. I was first offered it in June, before my letter was published.

The promotion keeps me in my home country. I’m not sure if I’ll get any opportunity to go abroad. But [I] have requested a change of project from my manager.
